”Richard Cory” by Arlington Robinson
The poem “Richard Cory” by Arlington Robinson is about a man who seems to have a perfect life a life many envy and want. Richard Cory was rich, a good person, well educated and a smart man yet he put a bullet through his head. This means that although people seem to have a good life and seem as though nothing is wrong you never know how they may be feeling in the inside they could be feeling lonely or be going through so may bad things. You can’t say someone’s life is perfect or flawless if you don’t know how that person may be feeling in the inside. Never assume someone is fine and is happy just by seeing the outside know how they truly feel and help them through anything they may be going through no one should go through a rough time alone.
